Anet V1 Mainboard Cover with 40mm Fan with helper discs
thingiverse
Created this remix to enhance bed adhesion for thinner parts that tend to lift off the bed as plastic cools down. The same design as Leo_N, but with improved bed adhesion. Simply trim off thin discs from the main print body using an Exacto or a safety razor. --------------------------------------------------------------- This cover was designed and fitted with a 40mm fan specifically to cool the mainboard's components with heat sinks. All wiring and connectors are easily accessible without removing the cover. To mount the fan to the cover, use 4 x M3x18 screws, 4 x M3 nuts, and 8 washers. You can also use the same 4 screws holding the mainboard to the frame if you have an Anet A8 printer. He recommends test fitting the screws before mounting the cover to ensure the pegs don't break. The screw holes are printed in 3 mm diameter; a 3mm drill bit may be needed if the screws fit too tightly, depending on your printer's tolerances. --------------------------------------------------------------- This fan was connected to the "Power Supply" on the mainboard. Please view the pictures from the original design for more details.
