Anet v1.0 & v1.1 Mainboard Cover with 40/50mm Fan
thingiverse
This is my first contribution to the Anet printer community. It's widely recognized that the Anet mainboard requires cooling for safe operation. I designed this cover with a 40mm fan specifically to cool the mainboard, focusing on components with heat sinks. All wiring and connectors are easily accessible without removing the cover. To attach the fan to the cover, use 4 x M3x18 screws, 4 x M3 nuts, and 8 washers. You can also use the same 4 screws holding the mainboard to the frame for mounting the cover if you have an Anet A8 printer. I recommend test fitting the screws before attaching the cover to the frame. Be cautious not to damage the pegs. The holes for the screws are printed in 3 mm diameter. You may need a 3mm drill bit if the screws fit too tightly, depending on your printer's tolerances. A Scythe Mini Kaze Case FAN with 3500rpm is highly recommended. It connects to the 12V input "Power Supply" on the mainboard. Please view the pictures for more details. I hope this cover will be helpful to others. If you build one, please post a picture of your setup with the cover as well. Thanks. Update 14.01.2016: A version for a 50mm fan has been added, which is mounted outside. You'll need M4 screws. This project is still under development. Update 20.01.2016: Two new files (40mm and 50mm) have been included to fit the newer Anet mainboard v1.1.
