ANET ET4 FILAMENT DETECTOR BOX UPGRADE

thingiverse

Hello! I'm excited to share a simple upgrade I did a month ago that's been making a huge difference for me. The issue of filament rubbing against the filament detector box was really frustrating, especially since it would often break within the first 50 hours of printing. The good news is that this upgrade is incredibly easy and doesn't require any major changes to your printer setup. What I did was take the base of the original box and use it as-is, while modifying the cover to fit my needs. To give you an idea of what settings worked best for me, here are the ones I used: 30-50% infill, two layers on all walls, a layer height of 0.2mm, and slow speed printing for certain critical parts inside the box. By taking your time and being patient, you can achieve some amazing results. One final tip that's made a big impact for me is to give the part that comes into contact with the filament a good sanding. It makes a huge difference in how smoothly everything runs!
