Anet E12 Fan v3
thingiverse
This is my 3rd revision of my cooling fan for the Anet E12. This one allows much more airflow than my V2, and circles all the way around the nozzle. For what it's worth, the air outlets around the inside of the ring are pointed against the edges of the ring to create a sort of "vortex" effect, allowing the air to circulate around the nozzle and have a much better chance of hitting the filament as it goes down. Also, if it looks like that tall piece is leaning in a bit, that's because it's supposed to be. I made that little tilt on purpose, so when that side is all the way in, that part at the top will click into place and prevent the backside of the fan from falling down or vibrating loudly when the extruder carriage moves quickly. One version has a blank backside, another has my name on it, in case you feel like showing off my work! And yes, you'll definitely want to make this out of ABS or some other high-temp resistant filament.
