Anet E12 bracket for SIQUK MK8 Extruder upgrade (right angle & offset designs)
thingiverse
I recently upgraded my Anet E12 with the SIQUK MK8 Extruder Upgrade from Amazon. However, I encountered a problem during installation - the filament path was in line with the Z-axis screw. Determined to find a solution, I designed an offset right-angled mount to change the orientation of the extruder motor. This design allows for minimal supports and can be printed easily. I made sure that the side mounting the stepper motor has extra room above it so that long M3 hex socket head screws can be used. These screws are essential for securing the stepper motor in place, and I've designed them to fit snugly into the mount. UPDATE: 09/22/2018 When installing the stepper motor, make sure to face it with the connector out towards the open side. This is crucial to prevent the cable and wiring from rubbing against the bed.
