The new version is out and it's a game-changer. Check it out here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2977390. This upgrade kit for the X-axis of your Anet E10 printer is designed to improve print quality by reducing oscillations, ghosting, and misalignments. The original design has been retained to maintain rigidity and prevent motor slippage. To install this upgrade, you'll need: * 2 rods of 8mm diameter and 33.4cm length * Optional: 4 Seeges or circlips 15mm You can use the original hardware for the rods. It's recommended to print the carriage with a minimum wall thickness of 1.6mm, cured with a 3D printer glue, or 3 contour layers in Simplify. This will provide stability to the area where the belt engages. A 40% infill and 0.2mm layer height are also suggested. When printing the carriage, make sure to use supports on overhangs only. Avoid using supports on hollow areas around bolts and nuts. Don't print supports under the E3DV6 or the Iguus bearings either, as they're not necessary and can reduce diameter. There are two options for the carriage: a standard one and an auto-leveling version. The carriage has two holes for inserting the M5 screws that hold the E3DV6. Use the screw and tighten until you feel resistance. The belt should be 79.1cm long, with 2.5cm inserted into each of the top bearings of the Iguus rods. To complete the installation, update your Marlin firmware to reverse the motor direction of the X-axis. Note that if you already have this upgrade installed, you may need to reprint the final stop mount due to its slight offset.
