This piece enables you to mount the 3D filament coil directly on top of the 3D printer, a change from the standard setup where it's positioned atop the control module. This modification makes the printer highly portable. Fortunately, there are enough spare parts included with the printer to perform this upgrade safely and without hassle. I wholeheartedly endorse this improvement, which should undoubtedly be the default configuration going forward.
