When I upgraded my Anet A8 to AM8, a metal frame upgrade caught my attention: bed butterfly nuts collided with rod holders.\r\nAs a solution, I designed a flat knob and swapped out butterfly nuts for classic ones.\r\n\r\nI recommend placing a washer between the knob and the bed.\r\n\r\nYou'll need to apply some force to get the nut into place. The print is snugly fitted to prevent the nut from shifting around.\r\n\r\n--------------------------\r\n\r\nWhen I swapped my Anet A8 to an aluminum frame, a problem arose: butterfly nuts kept hitting rod holders.\r\nTo fix this issue, I came up with a flat knob design and replaced butterfly nuts with classic ones.\r\n\r\nI suggest placing a washer between the bed and the knob for smoother movement.\r\nWith this setup, you'll be able to adjust your bed with ease.\r\n\r\nNote that the nut's print is intentionally tight to keep it securely in place. You may need to force it into position.
