Anet AM8 extruder mount for 2040 extrusions
thingiverse
This is my contribution to the [glorious AM8](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2263216) by [pheneeny](https://www.thingiverse.com/pheneeny/about).\r\nI designed this part specifically for bowden setups, intended to be mounted on the backside of the top 2040 extrusion.\r\nThe mounting plate is angled at 30° to prevent excessive stress on the tube when printing tall objects. Filament feeds from the rear, so place the spool behind the printer.\r\nScrews remain accessible even when mounted to the frame.\r\nThis design should fit all printers with top 2040 extrusions.\r\nPrint it with the 4 large holes facing down.\r\nSource included.\r\n\r\nRequired parts:\r\n4 x M5x10 Button Head Socket Cap Screw\r\n4 x M5x.8 Square Nut or M5 T-Nut\r\n3 or 4 x M3x10 or M3x12 Socket Head Cap Screw (stock extruder screws fit, quantity depends on your extruder)
