Anet AM8 Corner Trim (2040)
thingiverse
A corner trim for the 2040 extrusion is designed specifically for use with M5x10 bolts, and it comes in three distinct styles. Two of these trims feature the Anet logo, one positioned to the left and the other to the right. The third option is a universal style that does not display any logo. When printing this corner trim, follow the orientation shown in the second photo for the cleanest appearance of the logo. This requires orienting one of the holed sides facing directly towards the build plate. Although support is not necessary during printing, cleaning up the holes with a 5mm drill bit may be required after the print has completed. Update (29-05-2018): Recent modifications have enhanced this design. The length on each side has been increased by 5mm, and the placement of the holes was adjusted to avoid clashing with the x-axis extrusion. Additionally, a slight increase in clearance for the 5mm holes was made to simplify the process of inserting bolts. For an even cleaner appearance, chamfers have been added to the edges.
