Anet AM8 A8 extruder carriage and mount
thingiverse
• Replacement for original Anet A8 MK8 extruder mount, direct and exact • Extra 1 cm added to Z height for increased stability • Weighs 200 grams less than the original mount, making it more efficient • Utilizes original parts for a seamless integration • Additional requirements include 2 M3x18 bolts and 4 M3 nuts (2 nuts are for 5015 fan use) • For sensor installation, 2 more M3x18 bolts with nuts are necessary • Z axis endstop needs to be lowered for proper alignment • Designed for a 38.3 mm distance between X axis rods (~46mm from center to center) • If inserting nuts into the mount proves difficult, heating them up with a lighter makes installation easier • The fan duct is larger than the A8 original and operates efficiently • Supports in the fan duct are simply teeth and should be removed after printing • Recommended filament types include PLA, PET, and ABS-T; ABS is not recommended due to shrinkage issues • FreeCad file included for creating personal mods or modifications
