Anet A8 Z rod Stopper
thingiverse
After several printouts on my Anet A8, I noticed that the Z-rod started to develop a small amount of vertical play. Upon disassembling and reassembling the frame, I discovered that something had shifted inside it, and this approach wouldn't resolve the issue. I promptly designed a simple Z-rod stopper that directly presses against the rod itself rather than the printer's frame. To install it, you'll need four M3 bolts (at least 20mm long). I also uploaded the Soliworks Parts file so you can modify the cylinder to press further onto the rod if desired - currently, it's only 2mm in length. Give it a try!
