Anet A8 Z Endstop for Motor Dampeners

Anet A8 Z Endstop for Motor Dampeners

I bought two stepper motor dampeners to quiet down my Anet A8. The original design only used two mounting holes at a diagonal, which meant one bolt was supporting the whole thing. This caused some serious wobbling and inconsistency when homing the Z-axis. This rework lets me use two bolts at a diagonal to hold up the endstop trigger. It also works without the motor dampeners since the stock Anet is made that way too. Just be sure your bolts are long enough to screw into the dampener but not so long they reach the threads on the motor. I found 22-24mm bolts worked great for me.
