ANET A8 Z-Axis threaded rod extension for use with self centering coupler
thingiverse
Hello, I created this z-axis extension for my Anet A8 printer because the Z-Axis threaded rod wasn't long enough after I installed this self-centering coupler. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:602481 If the straight rod fits too loosely on your printer, check out this: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2423046 For easy assembly, I designed the extension with a top diameter of 7.8 mm and a diameter for the rod of 8.2 mm. Print it with 100% infill. If the fit is still too loose due to your printer's high accuracy, try using some Teflon tape or place a strip of paper between the rod and the extension. This design was made with Tinkercad. You can edit it online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/8dgVjpkzfnB
