Z Axis Sync Solution for Anet A8 Printers Problem: Z axis screws can quickly become misaligned due to uneven pressure. Any applied force on one side creates an offset, necessitating adjustments every time you print. Solution: Align the two screws using a pulley and belt system. Required Components: * Two bearings (688ZZ, 16x8x5mm) * Several M3 nuts * Various M3 screws * Approximately 800mm of 6mm GT2 drive belt (fibre reinforced) A steel-reinforced belt is not recommended. Instead, use cyanoacrylate glue to secure the fibre-reinforced belt. Alternatively, you can purchase a closed-loop belt specifically designed for this purpose (400t or 800mm). Update: In April 2019, I modified the bearing housing by adding a threaded component and a retaining nut. Additionally, revised instructions for splicing the belt have been provided to make the process easier to follow.
