Anet A8 Y Motor Mount for NEMA Dampener
thingiverse
I currently only print in PLA and the belt's tension is inducing excessive torque on my motor mount, causing the original file to warp. This uneven stress is detrimental to the motor shaft, potentially leading to damage that would necessitate replacing the entire motor. To mitigate this issue, I've fortified the part to withstand the torque. While further upgrades are feasible, I'm confident that this modification will suffice unless unforeseen complications arise. If you've upgraded your Z endstop print and acquired NEMA 17 motor dampeners, you'll need to print this additional component: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2568315 The Nema 17 Stepper Motor Dampener can be found at https://tinyurl.com/yalhohrr.
