Anet A8 Y-Belt Tensioner
thingiverse
Another Y-Belt Tensioner for the Anet A8 printer, inspired by the design at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1959208. This model utilizes a M4 Hex-Head Screw to achieve tension and features a plate that distributes pressure evenly across its surface. The front plate and sliders are secured together with M3 countersunk bolts, ranging in length from 8mm to 15mm. A small distance ring keeps the ball bearings spaced at a safe distance from the sliders. Prints without supports required, thanks to the design's structural integrity. A single layer of 0.2mm is applied to the knurled screw for bridging support; once printed, this layer must be carefully removed to avoid damage. Print settings include rafts: doesn't matter, supports: no, and resolution: 0.2.
