Anet A8 Y-belt tensioner V2
thingiverse
Add a new file for part V2_2L, it is longer to fit better on the shorter original belt. Add a new file for part V3, making it stronger than before; old one broke with some users. Print part 3 at 100% infill for extra strength. Introduce two improved V2 files that enhance parts 1 and 2 as seen in the last photo. This upgrade makes the entire construction more rigid. If you use these new parts, you'll need a longer screw for belt tensioning. The tensioner can be installed directly on the A8 with no modifications required, making it easy to tighten the belt. For mounting on the frame, four M3 x 18 screws and four M3 nuts are necessary. One M3 x 18 screw and one M3 locknut will suffice for tension. Additionally, two more M3 x 20 screws with locknuts are needed to secure the bearings and pivot point. Three M3 washers were used on the bearings: one between them and two between each bearing and the frame.
