Anet A8, Y BELT grip.
thingiverse
This is a replacement belt grip designed specifically for the Y belt on the Anet A8. It securely attaches to the stock holes, utilizing M3/18 screws and nuts for a solid hold. Adjusting the belt tension with this component is effortless. Simply attach the parts loosely to the printer with sufficient slack to allow the belt to feed into the toothed gap. Then, pull the belt to tighten it and hold the pieces together. Finally, tighten the screws until all components are snugly in place. Over-tightening is unnecessary since the teeth effectively secure the belt. The part's performance remains unaffected by bed temperature during use. Fitment Details: * 12mm spacing on M3/18 screws * The flat component serves as a spacer from the bed bracket * The toothed part fits next, and the deeply grooved part helps tuck away excess belt material * This part provides a slightly loose fit for the belt I printed this component in PLA at 200C with a 60C bed on my Anet A8. After printing over 10 hours without visible degradation, I am confident in its durability. The top cover part is relatively thin and may distort if removed from the print surface carelessly. Update: I have added two new designs to the collection: * A thinner Z-axis version marked as "thin" * A thinner Z-axis and narrower version marked as "narrow-thin" Print Settings: Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: Not Necessary Supports: None Required Infill: 20% Design Process: I utilized Blender to create this design.
