As I began working with my carriage, a problem arose when it collided with the back of my motor after mounting the motor damper, so I devised a solution by slightly reducing the mount to allow attachment of the motor damper while also gaining some clearance for my carriage. To prevent this issue from occurring again, I took the initiative to add spacers to the end of my screws since they were excessively long and would have otherwise struck the opposite side.
