When searching for a Y-Axis Cable Chain, most available options were positioned on the left side, obstructing the home position and either colliding with or rubbing against the frame. To cater to my specific needs, I decided to create a custom version. To optimize the design, I minimized all components and incorporated grooves into the connection points to simplify assembly and reduce friction between parts. Additionally, I discovered that the recommended 14 chain links resulted in an excessively long cable, which would frequently collide with the front frame. To avoid this issue, I opted for a more compact setup using only 12 chain links.
