If your A8 is anything like mine, the Y rods will be quite loose in their bores initially, which should make them even more sturdy. I measured the rods to be precisely 7.94mm, so your results may vary accordingly. You've been warned that these components are a very snug fit. To avoid cracking the acrylic, press the printed parts firmly onto the rods before pushing the remainder through the original holes.
