#This project has been discontinued, as I no longer use my Anet A8 and it has since been dismantled ****If you have questions or concerns about the design please post a comment. I will take any feedback and make adjustments accordingly**** The design is now available for download in STL format, along with the design files and G-code for Cura 3.6 and Slic3r PE. #BOM *2x mounting brackets* *2x slider plates* *3x M5-0.8 x 12mm (at least)** *OPTIONAL PARTS:* *3x WASHERS (desired size)* *3x Nyloc Nuts (desired size)* #HOW TO PRINT The parts are already in the best printing orientation, so no supports or rafts are needed. You will need to mirror a copy of both parts and then match them up accordingly. #HOW TO ASSEMBLE 1. Place the mounting bracket on the frame with the shorter sides pressing onto the frame and the long flat side facing towards the back of the Y axis. 2. Attach the slider to the mount using M5x0.8 bolts (bolt length should be no less than 12mm). 3. Work the slide back and forth to ensure a smooth fit. 4. Tighten the bolts enough to stop the slide, then back them out by 1/4 turn before working the slide again. #MACHINE LIMITS Depending on your machine's accuracy, you may need to adjust the outer wall width or compensate for x/y errors in your slicer. #DISCLAIMER I am printing this design on my Ender3, and it works as intended. However, I will be discontinuing this project due to my own hardware changes.
