So I spent a lot of time searching for tensioners that fit perfectly and were the right size. Most didn't quite fit or were too big, so I decided to make my own. After testing a couple of prints, I realized metal M3 nuts worked better than tapping the plastic, although I did create a threaded plastic test part and it functioned fine. To replicate this design, you'll need 2 x M3 nuts and 2 x M3 screws. This assembly attaches to the small tang where you would normally secure the belt. Feed the belt into the adjuster, then thread it through the 2 screws and secure in place. I have mine fully extended on the screws but suggest trying different positions to find what works best for you. You can edit the file to add springs, which was my initial idea, but I haven't included them in this design yet. When assembling the parts, you may need to file down the bottom M3 nut slightly as it caught on the metal rod during testing. The pictures show a plastic threaded version, but the downloadable files have slots for M3 nuts.
