Anet A8 X tensioner
thingiverse
I got fed up with constantly replacing weak idlers so I designed this tensioner to utilize larger roller bearings. It uses a motor gear, a 5 mm shaft, and 5x13x4 bearings. The shaft will need to be cut flush with the outside of the bearings using a cutoff wheel. A Dremel cutoff or similar tool will work just fine. Additionally, a longer belt is likely going to be required. This is a remix of: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2507473.
