Anet A8 X-Idler with X belt tensioner

Anet A8 X-Idler with X belt tensioner

thingiverse

This is a custom idler for the X-belt on my Anet A8 printer. I upgraded it with a sliding carriage that securely holds the bearings and a screw that adjusts the tension of the X-belts. I built this several years ago, and it has worked flawlessly ever since, so I'm sharing it now. To make this upgrade, you'll need some M3 screws and nuts, as well as three prints: an idler, a slider, and a knob. The old bearing fits perfectly into the slider. My Anet A8 printer has 46mm of interaxis between its rods.
