Anet A8 X carriage

X-Carriage for Anet A8 This is a highly useful component, allowing you to significantly reduce weight by replacing one block of LM8UU bearing with a much lighter PLA version. The LM8UU block weighs around 40 grams, while its PLA equivalent with 5% infill comes in at just 5 grams. By using this part carriage alone, you can slash over 200 grams from your overall weight, which translates to less inertia on the x-axis and reduced strain on the step motor. When selecting an alternative carriage, be aware that the distance between bearing centers may differ from what's required for the Anet A8. Specifically, the LM8UU bearings or 8mm bar must be spaced exactly 46mm apart - a crucial consideration to ensure smooth operation. To further minimize bed inertia, consider upgrading your bearing blocks using this link: https://www.thingiverse.com/make:581897. I highly recommend it. For bowden support, check out this design: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2193695/files. On December 26th, 2018, I added some upgrades for the SN04 inductive sensor and a separate support for circular inductive sensors with an 18mm diameter.
