Here's a mashup of several designs with an added feature - a sturdy mount for an 18mm inductive sensor, engineered to withstand even the most demanding conditions. I created the initial design but soon realized it needed a crucial upgrade: robust reinforcement at the hotend mount point. So, I decided to give it a major overhaul by incorporating an inductive sensor. However, my first print was made from PETG, which unfortunately led to flexing and eventual failure at the critical hotend mounting area. Determined to find a solution, I set out to design a more reliable version. After much trial and error, I'm happy to report that this revised design has proven itself to be remarkably resilient, withstanding even the most intense heat without showing any signs of stress or weakness.
