I purchased replacement idler pulleys that were a tad too broad to fit snugly into the original x-axis tensioner design. Despite my best efforts, I still encountered excessive friction and skipped steps due to it. This x-axis tensioner for the Anet A8 boasts a .4 inch width for the idler pulley, which is significantly wider than the original .335 in width. Additionally, the intended hardware for this setup consists of 1/4-20 nylock nuts and bolts.
