Anet A8 X axis endstop bump and filament guide
thingiverse
I encountered an issue where my cable slipped, causing the arm of my end stop to come loose. To temporarily fix it, I used tape while designing this solution. Since I was mounting something over the extruder, adding a filament guide seemed like a great opportunity. I chose not to use supports for the nubbin, but if you're unsure about your printer's reliability, using them might be a good idea. Before printing, make sure your X-axis end stop is securely fastened, as it may detach during homing. To prevent this from happening, I secured mine with a cable tie after it popped off on the third attempt.
