Anet a8 X-axis cable chain with z end-stop
thingiverse
This was a compilation of various components sourced from Thingiverse, with some alterations to ensure precise Z-stop adjustment and cable management. I've incorporated an updated file featuring a hole for accessing the foot screw. Print Settings: Printer: Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .1-.2 Infill: 5%+ Notes: Only supports were necessary on the motor mount How I Designed This Each part used in this design presented its own set of challenges and advantages. The original motor mount side of the chain, designed by ryks, allowed for smooth chain movement but limited maximum Z height, prompting me to add clearance. The cap on the screw for Z adjustment, inspired by Meermeneer's work, wasn't functional for my setup. In contrast, the extruder end of the chain, created by Starwhooper, provides a better mounting system.
