Anet A8 Wooden Frame
thingiverse
I'VE GOT THIS! Hello, I've built a frame for my A8 using 35x35 treated timber. It was a total cost of around £30. Here's what you'll need: * 35 x 35 timber (3m long, possibly longer due to cuts) * Miter saw * Wood screws * L Brackets x 8 * T brackets x 4 * Rubber feet x 4 Printed parts, no supports: * 0.2 res * 65% infill After assembly, you'll need to adjust your home offsets for X and Y (just search Google on how to do this). Cut the timber to dimensions: * 3 x X axis - 360mm * 2 x Y axis - 370mm * 2 x Z axis - 390mm Put together with the L brackets for corners and T brackets for the 2 Z pieces. A clamp of some sort would be super useful to hold the pieces at 90 degrees while putting them together. Reinforce the Z axis with L brackets once assembly is complete. Enjoy! Let me know any ideas about improving on the build - I'm all ears!
