Anet A8 with Creality CR10 hotend conversion plate
thingiverse
The Creality hotend is a solid choice, outshining the Anet A8's lackluster performance. Luckily, I had an extra one on hand, so I was able to make the swap. To get it up and running, you'll need to switch to a bowden setup, but that process is straightforward and easy to execute. I opted for the Creality hotend electronics, but you can simply mount the Anet heater and thermistor in this hotend without having to get out your soldering iron. This upgrade breathes new life into the system. When installing this hotend onto the rails, be mindful of over-tightening the screws. Doing so can throw off the alignment of the rails, resulting in a rough ride. Use your best judgment and proceed with caution.
