I scored a couple of 12v to USB car plug in gadgets that display incoming voltage in blue and temperature in red, which didn't really concern me about using the USB port since these were priced significantly lower than other volt gauge options. After building my Anet A8, I wanted to monitor the voltage like everyone else does, so I experimented with a few ideas on making a plug-in for the gauge and disassembled it. I soldered power wires to it, then decided to create a gauge mount and this is what I came up with. It attaches behind the Anet A8 controller board on top instead of the two white stand-offs. The temperature reading is from the gauge itself since the sensor wiring is fairly short. I might extend the sensor wire so I can read down by the Anet board itself. All things considered, it worked out really well.
