I struggled mightily to get the micro SD card reader that came with my Anet A8 working properly because the card slot in the original case was oversized and possibly misaligned with the actual slot inside. I wasn't sure if I was inserting the card correctly or just shoving it into the case haphazardly. In the end, I took matters into my own hands and created a custom replacement case. To disassemble the original case, start by carefully prying off the metal part. Then, separate the two plastic halves. Once you've assembled the new print, reattach the metal part to the USB connector in the same way it was originally installed.
