Anet A8 upgrade: Fan cover & support
thingiverse
In the **Anet A8 and similar 3d printing extruders** the cooling fan is screwed with only the bottom two holes, this makes the fan **poorly fixed** and prevents it from being fully screwed since screwing it too much leads to it bending and separating from the heat sink. In order to **better support** the fan two pieces re required, a frontal one that provides a better (and nicer) fan cover with two pins that once inserted into the unused holes of the fan pressure-fits into the second back piece, **supporting the fan in all four of his mounts** and preventing it from bending forward when screwed in place. To keep the back support from moving form his place since it is too only screwed no the bottom side as well it has two **fins that fits into the heat sink** staying hidden from the outside once the assembly is mounted in place.
