UPDATE: Simplified for easier printing, eliminating the Y offset issue. Hey there, Tired of struggling with fan duct clearance? Having trouble setting up IGUS bushings? Experiencing too much friction on your X rods? Give the Ultimate X Carriage for Anet A8 a try! Two versions are now available: 1. Z inductive sensor 18mm, featuring M4 nuts and screws for belts. 2. Z inductive sensor 12mm, also using M4 nuts and screws for belts. To get started, you'll need: * 2 x M3 screws/nuts (15mm) * 2 x M4 screws/nuts (15mm) X offset: -32 mm Y offset: 0 mm (Updated) This fan duct is designed specifically for E3Dv5/6 printers. Simply clip the fan onto the top of the pipe – no need for screws! Note that the distance between X smooth rods on my printer is 45.6mm, and this design is perfectly aligned for this setup. Make sure to maintain the same spacing before mounting the carriage. Bowden mods are required. Like many Prusa carriages and Anycubic Mega I3 designs, this one features a single bearing on the upper smooth rod. Print with support, ensuring that the bearing's rolling seat is at the top. You'll experience significantly smoother X-axis movement compared to the original carriage. Plus, you'll enjoy easy clearance and a nice, plane surface on your 3D printed objects. Check out this sample surface print, achieved at 0.24mm layer height, outer wall speed of 60mm/s, and PLA Neofil material. Enjoy your printing experience!
