Anet (A8) ultimate frame tensioners (Vibration and Noise absorbers)
cults3d
Hi everyone! This is my design to boost your Anet A8 frame's stability and make it rock-solid! All you need are some printed files - two Screw parts, one extensionerV2 piece, and another one called extensioner V2-2. You'll also require thin metal wire with a 0.8 mm thickness. As soon as the tensioning system is installed, you will notice a significant drop in vibration and noise levels. Mounting instructions: Print the two tensioners and the two screws. Optional: Add some paper tape to the frame for better adhesion of the tensioners. Snap the tensioners into place. Screw one end of the screw almost all the way down inside the tensioner. Insert the wire into the hole at the end of the screw, and in the big hole located at the base of the frame. Close the wire belt by wrapping it around both ends of the wire. Repeat everything for the other side. Gradually unscrew the screws until you feel a lot of tension building up in the cables. You'll be done in just 5 minutes! Enjoy your newfound stability!
