Anet (A8) ultimate frame tensioners (Vibration and Noise absorbers)

thingiverse

Hi everyone! This is my design for a tensioning system to make your Anet A8 frame incredibly rigid and stable. All you need to do is print these files (2x Screw, 1xtensionerV2, 1xtensioner V2-2) and get some thin metal wire (the one I used is 0.8 mm). As soon as you mount the tensioning system, you'll notice a significant drop in vibration and noise. Mounting Instructions: Print the two tensioners and the two screws. (Optional) Place paper tape on the frame to ensure the tensioners adhere perfectly. Snap the tensioners into place. Screw the screw nearly to the end inside the tensioner. Insert the wire through the hole at the end of the screw and the large hole at the base of the frame. Close the wire "belt" by wrapping it around both ends of the wire. Repeat everything for the other side. Gradually unscrew the screws until you feel a lot of tension in the cables. In just 5 minutes, you're done! Enjoy your rigid Anet A8 frame.
