Anet A8 Tronxy Bed level sensor Mount (Right side)
thingiverse
I wasn't satisfied with the standard mount because it often failed to detect my bed, so I created a new one. This custom mount draws inspiration from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2426460, but I've made some significant changes to make it more reliable. Initially, I was thrilled with my design until it kept breaking and getting tangled in my heated bed. That's when I discovered the spring-loaded concept by MaddeMichael, which I incorporated into my own design along with a unique mount location. To assemble this mount, you'll need some extra screws and nuts that are part of your printer's kit. The mount fits snugly between the print head and the right-hand side Z axis threaded rod. However, you'll need to adjust your sensor location offsets in your configuration.h file. For example, I've successfully used these settings: define X_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER 48 define Y_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER -15 I hope this design proves helpful for you. A big thank you goes out to MaddeMichael for their work on https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2426460, which was a great starting point for my own project.
