Anet A8 Top Filament Mount

I designed this top filament mount to address a pressing issue with my extruder. The problem was that filament shavings were accumulating on top of it, which indicated that the motors were exerting excessive force on my spool and causing inconsistent filament flow into the extruder. To rectify this situation, I positioned the filament in such a way that the outside edge of my roll rested directly over my extruder. This setup allows the roll to unwind naturally, thereby minimizing the pressure exerted on the x-motor. I have since modified the design to incorporate a double mounting system, as depicted in the accompanying image. By doing so, I have ensured that the spool is centered over the printer, rather than being pulled towards the left side of the x-carriage.
