Anet A8 to Creality Melzi mounting plate
thingiverse
A mounting plate to adapt a creality melzi bain board to a Anet A8 plus. NOT AS SIMPLE OF A MOD!! The connections on the A8 are almost all 3 pin plugs while the ender uses 2 pin plugs for end switches and thermistors. The Fan connectors fit, but the polarity is switched!! You might also need to make or buy a stepper motor splitter for the Dual Z motors. most melzi board only come with 1 Z connector. The original screen that comes on the A8 does not (directly) work on the melzi screen connector Last of all, you do need to be able to adjust and flash your firmware! This is needed to adjust the bed size, Z height and invert the end switch signal (ender3 uses NC while the A8 uses NO switches) But when it's all set and done, it works like a charm! I mainly did this because I had a spare melzi board with silent steppers after upgrading my ender 3 with a BigTreeTech board and bought the A8 on sale.
