Hey, I'm kinda new here, a total hobbyist, so I apologise for the mistakes that I make. I got my Anet A8 from a friend who didn't t used it anymore. It wasn't new and I had no experience in the field of 3d printing but it sounded fun. So I got the machine and set up Cura on my PC. Started to "print" and boy, it was noisy... Noisy enough to drive the neighbour next door to the wall. I started to look for upgrades and already changed the linear bearing and the x-belt. I put the machine on a rubber mat, the kind that you put under your inflatable pool. It got much better. I keep looking for improvements, seen these tennis ball dampers/feet (Tennis Ball Damper by pjnovas) but it does not really fit my printer. To stabilise it I used Anet A8 simple bumper (antivibration) by agnoia and mixed the two together in Tinkercad. I needed two different versions because of the different thicknesses of the frame on the front and the back and on the sides. So fare printed only one but will have the full set soon. Printer settings will be added soon.
