Anet A8 Spool Holder
thingiverse
I was really impressed by Soeren_Stobbe's design, but unfortunately, my print didn't hold the bearings securely enough, and I couldn't bring myself to use glue, so I made some adjustments to improve the grip. 1. I added crush ribs to the bearing features. 2. I included a support/guide for the side plate. Both the stud and pocket have a taper that facilitates assembly. 3. I also created a replacement side plate compatible with Soeren_Stobbe's original design, though I haven't had a chance to test it yet. You can squeeze the two parts onto the bearings by hand, but it requires some effort. To make things easier, I used a vise, but pliers or even a light tap with a hammer should also work just fine.
