Anet A8 Spool Holder Redux
thingiverse
I am reworking DeAtHfOrToLd's original design found on Thingiverse at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1505075. I have broken down the file into three separate components to facilitate easier printing on an A8 bed, particularly for users who encountered issues with warping or peeling. I have also incorporated a filament guide that is spacious enough to accommodate foam inserts for cleaning the filament as it passes through. The two spool carriages positioned on either side can support the entire roll without relying on the central component, giving users the option to omit it if preferred. This holder supersedes the existing "spacers" found on the LCD screen. Print Instructions: Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: No rafts are required. Supports: Supports are necessary for printing to prevent deformation of the groove at the top, although they are not strictly required. Resolution: Print with a resolution of .2mm. Infill: Use an infill percentage of 20% for optimal results.
