These designs ensure that the spool holders' axis of rotation aligns perfectly with the center of the spool, preventing it from vibrating excessively during printing and maximizing your printer's resolution capabilities. These two designs cater specifically to spools with an inner diameter of either 54.8 or 54.9mm, boasting a sturdy 80mm diameter and 2mm thick flange on their outer rim. Make sure to verify the size of your purchased spool by checking both sides; I recommend buying HATCHBOX PLA 1KG spools in 1.75mm thickness. The central hole measures precisely 7.8mm, accommodating the M8 150mm threaded rod that comes with the Anet A8 for the spool holder. This rod fits snugly, so carefully spin the printed designs onto it and secure a nut on the outside of these plugs on the rod to prevent the spool from shifting towards the edge. To get started, print one of each design or two identical ones - you'll need two plugs in total. When printing, be sure to orient the 80mm flange side down.
