Anet A8 Spool Holder Bottom Brace
thingiverse
I'm making my first upload to thingiverse, so go easy on me. My Anet A8's spool holder took a tumble off the bench, shattering one of its bottom braces in the process. I fired up Fusion 360 with newfound knowledge and had a replacement printed within ten minutes. The printer was loaded with some cheap filament I've been using for prototyping parts, but hey, it's only a brace, and I'm the only one who'll see it! I printed it at 60 mm/sec with a 0.20mm layer height. A bit of filing was required due to the dodgy filament, and the laser-cut holes in the filament holder sides were not ideal for sizing. Nevertheless, Voila! - a workable brace. I hope this might be useful to someone someday.
