I hear that mounting the filament to the frame can cause the printer to wobble, so I mount it from a rack behind the printer or from a dispenser above the printer. I use these simple and quick-to-print filament holders on the Anet A8 that snap onto the top of the printer like a clothespin. The holder snaps on more securely than expected, you can actually lift the printer off the table by lifting on the guide it stays in place that well. All other holders I have seen either fall off the printer or have a slot in them to change the filament that causes the filament to come out of the holder. I decided to make my own to overcome these two annoying issues. Do you really need the slot since the end of the filament is available during a change anyway? You don't.
