I redesigned the filament guide to accommodate an SD card holder where the original guide attached to the printer's frame. The original part I printed was loose on my Late 2017 kit, so I recreated it using Inventor but mirrored it for placement on either the bottom left or top right of the frame. To ensure a snug fit, I reduced the size of the attachment cut and shortened its length, eliminating the need for holes altogether. With a mere 15% infill setting, this redesigned part slides effortlessly onto the frame and stays securely in place.
