Anet A8 SKR 1.3 + RPI 3B Enclosure
thingiverse
A custom enclosure mounts directly on the left side of the Anet A8. It has ample space for both the SKR 1.3 and the RPI 3B, leaving room to spare. To run cables, I carefully cut out holes in the sides by hand. Behind the box, spacers are placed to secure it firmly in place. The pre-drilled holes on the old Anet A8 board were used for this purpose. Although one hole interfered with a RPI standoff, it still held steady enough. It's worth noting that the walls of the enclosure are remarkably thin and fragile. I printed mine with three walls, but I strongly recommend using 100% infill or thickening them to add extra stability. A warning is necessary: the RPI standoff posts don't fit perfectly and require adjustment to achieve the correct spacing.
